Rasaleela Clothing was started in 2002 by Trish Louey after she returned from living and studying in India for several years. Upon returning Trish noticed there was a gap in high quality unique and ethnic clothing.
Rasaleela is designed in Australia, and Trish travels the globe to find her design inspiration. Unique, often vintage inspired and ethnic prints have become part of Rasaleela’s signature style. Our designs make you feel fantastic regardless of age, shape or size.
These designs work in combination with breathable, durable natural fabrics such as Indian cottons, voile and Thai hand-woven cotton as well as beautiful traditional Japanese prints.
We produce great products that are thoroughly checked by us at all stages of production. This ensures you receive high quality, long lasting clothing.
Here at Rasaleela we only deal with family based companies that offer safe working conditions for their workers and good pay with No sweatshop conditions and No child workers.
By working with Artisans using traditional techniques such as hand block printing and hand embroidery, we are able to sustain villagers who have earned their income through their traditional practices for centuries.
Our number one priority is to produce individual ethical fashion with a conscience. We believe in giving back to the communities we work with providing financial support to the Fior DiLoto foundation in Rajasthan that educates girls who would otherwise receive no education and conducts social welfare programmes.
